If you’re a Green Dot Visa holder, you’re likely to be happy to know you’re not alone.
The Indian government’s new visa scheme is an example of how the country is gradually embracing a more open visa regime.
In November, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the new visa regime, which aims to ease visa requirements for visitors from all countries.
Under the scheme, visitors to India are eligible to apply for a visa once every six months.
They can do so through the Indian Consulate, which will then process their applications.
India’s green dot scheme also lets citizens stay in India for a maximum of three months at a time.
India is also planning to open its borders to international tourists in the near future.
However, that process is currently only being implemented by the Home Ministry, which has not given any indication that it intends to open the borders in a similar manner to how the visa scheme works now.
As part of its Green Dot scheme, India will open its border to international visitors by March 2018.
