Visa login for Chase Visa cards has been disabled due to a security breach, Visa said.
The login page is no more available on the Chase Visa website.
For now, the login page only displays your credit card information and the Chase Account number.
The login has been suspended for Chase Cardmembers who are currently enrolled in the Chase Sapphire Preferred card program, which allows customers to pay with a credit card and get Chase access to the Chase network of banks.
“For a number of Chase customers who have opted in to this program, the Chase login has not been active on their account.
Chase customers with Chase accounts that are currently open should review their Chase login and log in to access their Chase account.
If Chase is not available, they should contact Chase Customer Service at 1-877-527-4400 to see if their Chase password is correct.”
For those Chase account holders who have recently switched to a Chase Sapphire card and still have their Chase Login, they will have the opportunity to log in using their Chase credentials.
The account holder can then log in as they normally would, but the login information will not change.
If you are a Chase cardholder who has switched to an Chase Sapphire or Chase Platinum card and have not seen a new login page, we recommend that you contact Chase customer service for assistance in resetting your password,” Visa said in a statement.
Chase, however, has not identified which accounts were affected by the breach.
Chase did not immediately respond to a request for comment from ESPN.
