Sonoma, California — A married Chinese tourist is seeking to visit Jerusalem, but her husband won’t let her.
The couple married in July 2015 and have two children.
Sonoma, a Chinese national, told The Jerusalem Report that her husband’s refusal to allow her to come is not the first time she’s been denied a visa.
Her husband has previously refused to allow a Chinese woman to come to the United States to work, and he was quoted as saying, “I don’t care about what you do in your country.
I don’t want to see you.”
Sonoma said that her family in China is not wealthy enough to allow them to afford a stay in the country.
She said that in addition to the expense of the trip, they would have to travel at a cost of $3,000 a day.
Sonomo said she would also have to spend a significant amount of time in a foreign country, and that they have been planning to make a trip to Israel this summer.
She said she is considering visiting the country and her husband would not let her do so.
Sonomas husband, who is Chinese, said that while she was happy to be a tourist, she was worried about her safety.
Sonomes husband told The Report that he has already received threats and has contacted authorities, but that he would not allow her entry to Israel.
Sonoms husband, however, said he had not heard back from them.
Sonomas husband also told The Israel Project that he was upset about Sonomas refusal.
Sonomanas husband told the newspaper that they were not considering staying in Israel.
She added that she would not be deterred by the threats or her husbands statements.
The Jerusalem Report spoke with the Chinese Consulate in Sonoma.
They said they were looking into the issue.
Sonomic said that they will continue to monitor this situation and continue to work toward a solution.
Sonome also said that she will speak with her husband about the situation and if she is able to find a solution with the consulate.
Sonomenas husband did not respond to requests for comment.
The Israeli embassy in Washington, D.C., did not immediately respond to a request for comment, but the consulate’s website says that the embassy does not provide visas or travel documentation.
Sonamas family in Beijing is a popular tourist destination in China.
