Posted by New York City Paper on Sunday, September 23, 2018 02:22:03 The world has changed, and I’m just now starting to understand that.
For those of us who are still in our teens and early 20s, it’s a different world, and it’s hard to stay in our comfort zones when the stakes are so high.
It’s even harder to get through the day, and a lot of people struggle with being in love.
But for those of you who are now in your 40s and 50s, and have reached the age where you’re in a relationship with someone, there’s a lot to learn.
If you’re a nerd like me, or if you like movies, or books, or music, you might be one of the lucky ones.
There’s something to be learned.
If I’m not a big movie buff, then I’ve had the luxury of enjoying many of the big releases.
For a lot in our lives, we’re so used to the big names, we have to learn to love the lesser known names.
Like, “What’s your favorite movie?” or “What is your favorite food?”
Or “What are your favorite hobbies?”
If I have to pick one movie or one book, I’d pick the ones that I’ve seen and liked and enjoyed over the years.
There are so many wonderful films and books out there, and they just don’t get enough exposure.
In my opinion, you can be a geek, or a geeky person, or just a nerd with a passion for films, or you can embrace the other side of nerdiness.
I’m one of those nerds.
I love the films that I love, and movies and books that I adore.
I like reading books, and listening to podcasts, and watching the movies I’ve been watching.
It doesn’t matter how much I enjoy something.
I can’t change what I love about it, and my love for it has nothing to do with how much money I make.
My passion for movies has nothing at all to do to how many hours I spend in front of the computer, or how many years I live.
It has nothing whatsoever to do how I make a living.
I do it because it’s something I enjoy.
If the movies are good, I like the movies.
If they’re bad, I don’t.
I just don ‘t care.
I don ‘ t care about the money.
I care about enjoying movies and watching great movies, and that’s it.
